    How Rankings Work

Our rankings are designed to reward both winning and earned experience. A 1-0 fighter does not outrank a 20-5 veteran.

    The formula

Each ranked fighter receives a score equal to their win percentage multiplied by the minimum of their total fights or 20. In symbol form: score = winPct × min(totalFights, 20).

This means a 10-0 fighter (100% win rate, 10 fights) scores 1000, while a 20-5 fighter (80% win rate, 25 fights — capped at 20) scores 1600. Experience accumulates up to 20 fights, then plateaus — preventing journeymen with hundreds of losses from gaming the system through volume alone.

    Minimum fights to qualify

Fighters must have at least 3 verified professional bouts to appear on the rankings. This filters out unverified profiles and prevents inflated rankings from very small sample sizes.

    Tiebreakers

When two fighters have identical scores, ties are broken first by total professional wins (more wins ranks higher), then by total professional losses (fewer losses ranks higher).

    When do rankings update?

Rankings recompute on every page load from current fighter profile data. There is no batch schedule — as soon as a fight result is added to a profile, the rankings reflect it.
